London Bulls Basketball Academy – Terms & Conditions

PARENTAL CONSENT

By registering, you confirm permission for your child to take part in all basketball sessions and games run by London Bulls Academy CIC (LBBA) during the 2026–2027. You accept there is some risk of injury and trust the academy's supervision and safety standards.

1. GENERAL

• These T&C apply to all LBBA sessions, games and camps

• Payment or attendance confirms acceptance of these terms

• Parents must keep medical and contact information accurate at all times

• Sessions may take place indoors or outdoors depending on venue availability

2. FEES AND PAYMENTS

• £10 one-off registration fee for all new members

• Monthly fees collected by Direct Debit on the 1st of each month via our booking platform

• Mid-month registrations are charged from the following month

• Fees must remain up to date; unpaid players may not attend

• No refunds or deferrals for missed sessions

3. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

• One month's written notice required by email before the 1st of the month (e.g. notice before 1st May cancels the June Direct Debit)

• Notice received after the 1st takes effect from the following payment cycle

• No refunds for illness, absences or holidays

• Medical credit may be issued with a valid doctor's note

• Where a refund is approved, it will be issued minus a 7% platform processing fee

• The Academy may suspend or remove a member for conduct reasons without refund (see Section 6)

4. HEALTH, SAFETY AND MEDICAL

• Your child must be fit and well to participate

• All medical conditions, allergies and injuries must be disclosed in advance by email or on registration

• LBBA is not liable for incidents arising from undisclosed conditions

• Coaches are first-aid trained and will contact parents immediately in an emergency

• LBBA, staff and volunteers are not liable for injury, loss or damage unless due to negligence

5. SAFEGUARDING AND WELFARE

• All staff hold enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding certification

• Welfare concerns can be reported confidentially to our Welfare Officer: info@lbba.co.uk

• Our Safeguarding and Welfare Policy is available on request

6. BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT

• Respect is expected from all players, parents and spectators toward coaches, officials and each other

• Parents must not coach from the sidelines

• Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in suspension or permanent removal without refund

• Regular attendance supports fair and equal court time for all members

7. COMMUNICATION

• Email: important updates and official notices

• WhatsApp Community: live updates and announcements

• Spond: fixtures, RSVPs and match information

• Parents must join the relevant groups and keep contact details current

• Queries are responded to within 3–4 working days

8. VENUES

• Sessions take place at our regular venues or alternative locations if needed

• In2Sports: 40 Harbord Square, E14 9QH

• George Green's School: 100 Manchester Rd, E14 3DW (indoors or outdoors)

• Canada Water Leisure Centre: 7 Deal Porters Way, SE16 2AJ

• Outdoor courts at Island Gardens (E14) and King George's Field (SE16) may also be used

• Parents will be notified of venue changes in advance wherever possible

9. LOST PROPERTY

• Please do not bring valuables to sessions

• LBBA is not responsible for lost or damaged items

• Unclaimed items may be donated after one month

10. PHOTOGRAPHY, DATA AND GDPR

• Photos and videos may be taken for promotional use

• Photo consent preferences can be set on registration; to change preferences email info@lbba.co.uk

• We hold personal data securely and only as long as necessary; contact us to request deletion

• By joining, you consent to receive updates via WhatsApp and email

11. POLICY UPDATES

• These T&C may be updated periodically; the current version is available on request

12. CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL

• LBBA is not liable for the cancellation or suspension of sessions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to government restrictions, public health emergencies, severe weather, venue closures, or third-party actions

• In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, but refunds cannot be guaranteed

• Where a venue becomes inaccessible or unsafe due to factors outside LBBA's control, we will endeavour to provide an alternative location where possible
