London Bulls Basketball Academy T&C

Parental Consent

I give permission for my child to take part in basketball games and training run by London Bulls Academy (LBA) during the 2025–2026 academic year

I understand there is some risk of injury and trust the academy’s supervision and safety standards


1. General

• Applies to all LBA sessions and games

• Payment or attendance means acceptance of these terms

• Parents must keep medical information accurate and up to date

• Enrolment confirms agreement with all payment obligations

2. Definitions

• Parents/guardians are responsible for attendance and behaviour

• Sessions follow the academic year (Sept–July) with extra sessions in August

• Waiting lists are free, subject to availability

• Parents must join the correct communication channels (see Section 4)

3. Fees and Payments

• £10 one-off registration fee for all new members

• Payments collected by Direct Debit through ClassForKids platform on the 1st of each month

• Mid-month registrations are added to the next payment

• Fees must stay up to date; unpaid players may not train

• No refunds or deferrals for missed sessions

4. Communication Policy

• Email: important updates and notices

• WhatsApp Community: live updates and reminders

• Spond: games, RSVPs and match info

Parents must join the correct WhatsApp/Spond groups and keep contact details current

Queries are within 3–4 working days

5. Health & Safety and Medical Information

• Parents/guardians must ensure their child is in good health and can take part safely

• Medical conditions, allergies or injuries must be shared in advance by email or on platform

• The Academy cannot be held responsible for incidents linked to undisclosed conditions

• Coaches may give first aid in emergencies; parents will be contacted immediately

• London Bulls Academy, staff and volunteers are not liable for injury, loss or damage unless due to proven negligence

6. Safeguarding and Welfare

• All staff hold enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training

• Concerns can be reported confidentially to the Welfare Officer, info@lbba.co.uk

• The Safeguarding and Welfare Policy are available on request

7. Behaviour and Conduct

• Show respect to coaches, teammates, officials and parents

• Parents should not coach from the sidelines

• Disruptive behaviour may lead to suspension or removal without refund

• Regular attendance supports equal court time

8. Refunds and Cancellations

• No refunds for illness, absences or holidays

• Credit may be issued for medical reasons with a valid doctor’s note

• One month’s written notice (email) required before the next payment date (1st of the month).

• Sessions cancelled due to severe weather or venue issues may be rescheduled but not refunded

9. Lost Property

• Please avoid bringing valuables

• The Academy is not responsible for lost or damaged items

• Unclaimed items after one month may be donated

10. Venues

If a venue is unavailable, training may be moved to one of the following locations:

• In2Sports: 40 Harbord Square, Wood Wharf, E14 9QH

• George Green’s School: 100 Manchester Rd, E14 3DW

• Canada Water Leisure Centre: 7 Deal Porters Way, SE16 2AJ

• Outdoor Court: Island Gardens (FXQQ+9H,Welling E14 3BG)

• Parents will be notified of venue changes in advance whenever possible

• Outdoor Court: King George's Field Playground (6 Surrey Quays Rd, SE16 7BE, FWWX+WG London)

Parents will be informed in advance whenever possible

11. GDPR and Data Protection, Photography, Videos, and Social Media

• Photos and videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes

• Parents can indicate their photo consent preferences directly on the online registration

• By joining, you consent to receive updates via WhatsApp and email

12. Policy Updates

- These T&C may be updated periodically

- The latest version will be available on request
