London Bulls Basketball Academy Terms and Conditions

Parental Consent

I give my permission for my child/ren to participate in basketball games and training sessions organized by the London Bulls Academy during the 2024-2025 academic year. I understand the risks involved and agree to them as part of my child's participation. I acknowledge the potential for injuries and accept this risk. With confidence in the academy's supervision, I support my child's involvement.

1. General

  - Applies to London Bulls basketball training at specified locations.

  - Payment constitutes acceptance of these terms.

  - Parents are responsible for providing accurate medical information for their children, ensuring their safety.

  - Enrolment in our academy requires adherence to payment obligations outlined in our terms and conditions.

2. Definitions

  - Parents are responsible for their child's attendance.

  - Course durations align with the academic year.

  - Waiting list available at no charge, subject to availability.

  - Parents are responsible for ensuring they are on the appropriate WhatsApp group.

  - Notify us via email or text for session absences in advance.

3. Contract and Fees

  - Payment confirms acceptance of terms.

  - £10 annual registration fee.

  - No admission without full membership payment.

  - Direct Debit setup for classes.

  - Regular attendance is required; no refunds or payment deferrals for missed sessions.

4. Refunds and Cancellation

  - No refunds for general illness or term-time holidays.

  - A credit note for injury/illness with a certified medical note.

  - Credit for overpayments.

  - One month's notice is required to stop and avoid next month's charge.

  4.1. Cancellations due to 'Circumstances beyond Our Control'**

  - Unexpected School Closure

  - Road Closures or Traffic Accidents (Coach will make reasonable efforts)

  - Severe Weather Conditions

  - Unexpected Facility Cancellation

  - Notice of Change: Adjusted Session/Course Start Time due to Facility Update

  - Force Majeure

5. Arrivals / Collections

  - Hand sanitisation/washing is required before entering.

  - Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before sessions.

  - Timely pick-up is essential; please consider coaches' schedules.

  - Parents/guardians are responsible for the drop-off and pick-up of their child/children.

6. Respectful Behaviour and Exclusion

  - Respectful behaviour is expected.

  - Coaches reserve the right to exclude disruptive children.

  - Regular attendance is necessary for equal court time.

7. Medical Information

  - Provide up-to-date medical info.

  - London Bulls coaches can administer first aid.

  - Emergency contact with parent/guardian.

8. Lost Property

  - Avoid valuable items.

  - Not liable for lost property.

  - Items held for a month, and then donated.

9. Alternative Outdoor Court at Isle of Dogs

  - In the event of facility unavailability, sessions may relocate to an outdoor court at Isle of Dogs as an alternative venue.

10. Photography/ Videos/Social Media

  - Consent is required to receive messages on WhatsApp and emails, and photos are used for promotion. (If you wish to opt-out, please let us know by email.)

11. GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation

  - We are committed to protecting your personal data and complying with GDPR regulations.

  - Your personal information is collected and processed lawfully and transparently.

  - We only collect the necessary information to provide our services.

  - Your data is securely stored and protected against unauthorized access or disclosure.

  - We may use your data for communication purposes related to our services, including updates and promotions.

  - You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information upon request.

  - We do not share your information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

  - By agreeing to these terms, you consent to the processing of your data as outlined above.
